Lexus Uses Social Media to Make it a December to Remember

Social media helps deliver the December to Remember campaign to Toyota Corp.’s Lexus in which the automaker will donate $5 to Toys for Tots for each post shared. Now through January 3, 2012, Lexus will donate a maximum of $100,000 to Toys for Tots using the automaker’s Facebook and Twitter pages

This marks the first time Lexus has utilized social media to support its charitable drive; the December to Remember campaign provides a meaningful opportunity to engage with their online fans, while helping children who will benefit from the Toys for Tots donation, all while reaching new consumers. When the Lexus followers “share” the big red bow on their page, Lexus makes a donation and users spread holiday goodwill while introducing their friends to Lexus.
